Working bee's started on preparing groundworks for new site.
Equipment and "heritage items all shifted to make way for driveway.
Entry gates fitted and Owens boundary fencing re-aligned, so lots of progress underway.

Recent working bee's have finished clearing up Spencer Ave. site. Group also did some grinding of bolts and studs at old hydro site
at Manawahe.
Friday crew working on a number of projects just now. Old gray Fergie having an oil change and service. Restored its
gear stick starter switch and now has a three point linkage lifting bar to help us when moving our bigger stationary motors. IHC "Famous" now looks great
but still some work to get it a runner.
After a struggle with our 1920's Anderson motor restoration it dawned on someone we were cranking it the wrong direction.
The initial embarrassment over, we modified the magneto to operate in the opposite direction and the motor sprang into life like a bought one.
Not everything we do is perfect first time around, but persistence getting us there in the end.
Our Keystone maize sheller/corn shucker was to be matched up to a special visitor for Farming Like Grandad 2022.
A local steam enthusiast has built a reduced size replica steam tractor.
As it turned out our drive
belt was too wide for the tractor drive pulley, but with the event now postponed we have plenty of time to find something that
might fit for next year.
After many years of start/stop working on the Bradford it is now very close to a goer. It was found in a very poor state years ago
by Stan Fretwell's daughter Eunice, so we have christened the Bradford "Eunice". Eunice might not get an on road registration, but will
definitely feature at future Waterwheel Events.
