Weather forecast for the day not encouraging yet turn out was good. This years event well supported by commercial exhibitors and some generous new sponsors. Leading attractions returning included wagon rides, Rotorua Axe men, women and kids, wood handling equipment, crafts and craft stalls, shearing, vintage cars, old and new tractors and farming machines and pony club gymkhana.
